Health Survey: pressure about 17 per cent of Canadians suffer from hypertension

Federal Bureau of Statistics has just published its annual Community Health Survey(2010 Canadian Community Health Survey) shows that over the age of 12 respondents, 17% of the person suffering from high blood pressure, the figure has steadily increasedover the past decade, the trends; respondents over the age of 15, 24 percent said therewas tremendous pressure on the pressure or the equivalent, from a gender perspective,25 percent of women said that under immense pressure, 22% men; view from the age group , 35 to 50 years old group of about 30% of the daily lives of people that feel the pressure.

The report also found that 12 respondents were over the age of fruit and vegetable consumption has declined. Daily consumption of fruits and vegetables accounted formore than five times were 43%, down 3% over 2009. Of these, about 50% of womenhave the habit of eating a lot of fruits and vegetables, while men in this figure is only36%. The national survey interviewed 65,000 people over 30 collected information onhealth indicators.
